Software Integration Technologies
Developed by D3D Teams and the AFRL
Summary: This
project aims to integrate numerous codes and technologies developed
under the ONR/DARPA “D3D” Digital 3D Structure Consortium, a 5 year
$7.5M company-led multi-university consortium integrating a suite
of multiscale tomographic microstructural characterization tools
with higher fidelity 3D microstructural simulation tools enabling
greater accuracy in accelerated materials design and development.
Current areas of focus are the implementation of IDL codes in C++
in the form of VTK and
ParaView readers
and filters.
Code Availability: All code can be currently
accessed from the BlueQuartz Public Git repository.
Details: Software projects include the
implemetation of a "Euclidean Distance Transformation" filter, a
"Crystallographic Orientation Coloring" filter and further maturing
the MXADataModel project by providing a ParaView plugin to read and
display data stored in an MXA file.
